Move 1: b5 did nothing to achieve your goals. The two major ordinary goals of the opening are to get your pieces out and fight for control of the center. That move influenced no central squares, and did not allow any pieces to be developed, except the light-sq bishop. If you wanted to develop the light-sq bishop in fianchetto, b6 would have been safer.
2: you missed the threat on the b pawn. also, h5 is subject to the same complaint.
10: you missed the threat on your rook. Gotta watch for those. At the same time, your bishop un-protected your knight the previous move. You got away with that because you threatened his rook, which is worth more than a knight, but you then needed to play 10 ... Rxh5 11. Qxh5 Qb7.
11: ditto with the knight, which also forced the loss of your queen.
16: you gave away your rook. The game is over.
Really, gotta keep an eye out for the threats to your pieces.

ongoing, so no comments please... but this stuff is seriously bothersome. note how I cleverly hung my d pawn for no compensation, too, and my kingside is utterly raped...

My comment is this: It would help your game tremendously if you learned the basic rule of the opening that I mostly follow:
Make it your priority to move each Knight and Bishop off their initial squares and to castle as soon as possible.
To do this, you only need to move two Pawns - one for each Bishop. It's also slowing down your development if you move one of the Knights or Bishops again before you finish developing the rest of your critical pieces. The 1...b5 move was ok, because it let you develop your Bishop to b7, but you allowed it to get taken while your opponent got to make a developing move in the process. Bad idea. 1...b5 is a move that probably should be left to more experienced players.
