Corus 2008 is being carried on already! Why nobody discuss it here?
It's very interesting competition, where 14 famous grandmasters take part such as Anand, Kramnik, Topalov, Leko, Gelfand, etc. I found one interesting site with online broadcasting of the tournament:

That's a good point you are making there. And there have been some exciting games already. Like yesterday when Judit Polgar beat Gelfand in a truly romantic style! It felt like the clock was turned back many years. Or the very instructive endgame that Kramnik played against Eljanov, probably future textbook material.
