My hard drive fried this morning... :'(

I lost everything. Would some of you help me? I posted a free chess site that was superior to all others I'd seen, but I lost the url for it(?)

I sent many of you 3 lessons. I lost not only the lessons, but all my writings, email addresses and everything. FOr those of you who know me, please send me the lessons so I can have a copy of them.

Thanks,
Arrakis

There is a site, forget the url but the program is called test disk 9.
I'll try googling it in. It can rebuild the track info on a hd, might help.
Ok, found it, not on Google, its actually called testdisk 5.9 and the
Url is www.cgsecurity.org.
I heard this one called the holy grail of freeware for fixing HD's.
Its available in three styles, Linux, Dos, and mac. I already
resusitated a dead HD at least enough to suck off the good stuff.
With this prog, you need a good HD, say a second system that works,
and install the bad HD on the good system and download testdisk and
call up the bad drive and let testdisk work on it, it fixes the Master
Boot Record among other things and can access the HD when windows
won't. Good Luck!
