I just finished this 3-0 blitz - I thought it was a pretty awesome game, pure domination from the very beginning:

Blitz games are meaningless and have no significant value other than the false pretense of boosting the winner's ego.

Thats a bit harsh...and as usual with absolutes...absolutely wrong. I know people that play blitz very accurately...maybe even at a higher level than you play cc.

That's far from true. See why Korch stopped posting? This is supposed to be about critiquing, not opinionated, sir.

I thought that maybe for bullet (1 0) games not blitz. Extravagant opinion of yours.

Thanks for not adding anything to the conversation.

BTW: If you looked at the game you might find it entertaining...which is the point of this thread.

Very nice game. You attacked pretty agressive 🙂 I am just curious, why 7. Bd3... Wouldn't Qc2 or Qe2 be better way for adding extra support to e4 pawn?

Yeah, probably, but I planned on having the queen on c2 and bishop on d3 anyhow, as that's my typical setup that I prefer - so I figured it didn't matter too much if I played Qc2 or Bd3 first.

11. e5 removing defender. My favorite tactical device, it can really produce butterfly-hurricane effect. I remember Chessmaster tutorial with removing defender of defenders defender, resulting in winning game. Tactics, tactics, tactics 😛 Well done!

Talking about me?

I play much better in blitz. For some reason it's harder for me to play cc. Maybe because I got to refresh my mind on what's going on in the game everytime I come back to it

Please, excuse me for a naïve question...
What does {1}, {0}, {6}, mean?
What program generate this kind of PGNs?

I won't swear by it, but I think it shows how long (in seconds) that player took to make that move.

nope...its lag time...its the seconds it took between when the move made and when it shows on the opponents screen

EDIT: or your screen if the opponent moved.

EDIT2: Maybe you are right...I haven't played at playchess for a while

Doesn't it say the max lag time is 2.3 secs?
