Its great, I own 70 of the clocks. I about to buy 70 of the boards (Smart Boards) which you can broadcast over the web real time. As for using it, get another player and put it through every mode on it, theres loads. I use them for lightning chess with my students. If you do get the board too tell your local league they would bend over backwards to be able to use it as top board in a congress.

Nice, I was very happy to receieve this one it has a lot of predefined programs (I only understand standard times, Fischer controls and hour glass) including Guilliotine, Bronstein Delay sistem etc.... It also has option to connect to internet with DGT chess board for online games.

I will just stick to the basic controls 😛

The connecting to the Internet is the best bit. You just set up a web site so every one can watch, set a date get some good players and bag a show on the interweb. Hopefully when I can afford the 70 boards any 140 person tournament can have every board live on the web. Cool eh!

Great clock though, use it alot. Its a great step forward for playing different types of chess. Check out 20 second chess (Hourglass Mode) on www.englishchess.org.uk top right hand corner. Thats done on DGT XL's.
