I saw a few weeks ago a thread bby David Tebb that said that he beat Casparov. I would like to know if he really did or was it just a lie.
I doubt Tebb was expecting to win either, just give Kasparov a run for his money.

I have once played a Simul against P. Leko and he wiped me out. Not saying that I'm the one to measure oneself against but indicating here how hard it is to beat people of that class... Once again, well done David

I can understand why some people are sceptical, but I promise that I did beat Kasparov, and here's the proof:-

actually, i happened also to beat Kasparov in a simultaneous exhibition last year, he was not pleased and said it was a sequence he had never seen before but he would certainly use it in his next game against Kramnik. Here is the game:

date: april 1st 2003
martinbeaver (white) 1101 vs Kasparov (black) 2845
1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 d6 4. Nc3 Bg4 5. h3 Bh5; 6. Nxe5! Bxd1; 7. Bxf7+ Ke7 8. Nd5+ Mate!
