-do your thinking for you!

I've a fan of this young I.M. for awhile now, please let him explain why players should look upon the engine as a guide, and not a gospel. (This goes double for me!) 😳

You can only understand chess at your level and a little above.
So you play and study at your level and make steps upward over time.

Weak players having an engine go over their games and trying to learn from that is ridiculous.

It never works.

Chess coaches take young talent and guide them to what they need to know at that time.

They don't say...

"The engine says this!...YOU SUCK!!"

No...they guide the player towards what they need to know to improve and move up.

The same applies to adult improvers.

Nobody goes from weak to pro because of some engine analysis.

Engine Analysis is for Masters and above.

Or weak players looking for missed tactics.

@mchill

I do watch him.

He's funny. 😉

In fact I did some anaylsis and found horrendous tactical blunders that I missed.
For me a difference in evaluation of 0.1 or 0.2 are mostly meaningless, since I don't unerstand the difference anyways.

Me too.

At another site they analyze the game after it's over and all I understand are the missed tactics.
I would need a coach to explain the other stuff.
