Moving the king to d1 there at the end would leave you some options for attacking (instead of moving it into the K + Q fork, I mean).

I just finished this game.

edit: My opponent claimed a draw. Any suggestions, positive or negative criticism welcomed.

I think Nd5 was a mistake. Maybe you should have put pressure on the backward d-pawn.

Wow, I was always annoyed with Caro Kann, I didn't know white has this cool option to trade pawns and play this game similar to Queen pawn games...

You correctly trapped his bishop after 22. ... Bxa2?? but didn't follow it through to actually take it.

25.Rxg7?? was just rubbish. You had a strong position and sacrificed a rook for nothing more than a check. 25.Be5 to put pressure on the g7 pawn would have been better.

After a serious of weak moves by both sides, Black found himself in a spot of bother by move 35 and 36.Qxg4+ would have finished him off after 36. ... Kh6 37.Bc1+

What is the correct continuation and plan after move 23? Maybe not start with 23.Rd7?

I think 23. Rd7 was a good move, but you were too keen to sac on g7. You could put a lot of pressure on g7 without sacrificing, remember - it's better to sacrifice your opponents pieces!

How about 23. Rd7 Qc6; 24. Be5 Rg8 25. Qg5 Qg6; 26. Rxg7! Rxg7 27. Rd8+ etc.
