I find that sometimes on this site, I play someone with a very low ranking, and I play very badly. I find this very embarasing as I am not really that bad of a player.

..the square of the hypothemus is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides in any right angled triangle.

or a2+ b2 = c2 where c is the hypothemus in a right angled triangle.

I suppose only a git from Australia would have the nick " pythagoras" and be ignorant of his laws. Jesus wept.

Yet another pommy git who wished he'd stolen one more loaf of bread so as to be sentenced to death instead of being deported to Tasmania.

Tassie....the only place where you can marry twice and still have the same relatives.

I am only 14 years old by the way so am I supposed to know all these complicated mathematical things? For my age I'm really good at maths. I topped my class all year last year.

Well she's from New Zealand for a start.😛

Plus she hates anything and everything that doesn't conform with her own (very strict) stipulations. In effect, she is a b****

We all have players who we find it diffucult to play against even though they are lower rated then us. Just play someone else and learn from your mistakes. I gave up after having a losing record of 2-5 against a 1500 and stopped playing him. I coudln't get any advantage against his opening play.

Speaking of embarassing games,I feel very bad about this game.
I played a good game against a strong opponent but I thrashed the game with a stupid rook move done without thinking of the outcome.
This is embarassing, throwing away good games because of superficiality.

Complicated mathematical things? I knew the pythagorian theorem when I was 10. Most students learn it in 6th grade, 7th at the latest. Therefore, you should know it by now. If you don't know these "complicated" mathematical things, then your avatar shouldn't include summation symbols, mu, lamba, theta, etc. You surely don't know what those are either.
