Hi all,

I thought it would be nice to show some nice combinations in the endgame. That way maybe we can take away the 'endgames are boring' mentality away from certain players (you know who you are 😛). The best is to post it as a puzzle.

Show both your own games and nice GM games if you want!

Here's one I just finished:





It's easy enough to spot, but on the first look it doesn't seem to win as much material as it really does. He played the best moves, I queen my pawn on all other continuations.

I just checked - 23...Bxg5 was missed in the actual game.

Game 6806440

Perhaps the best way to go for a win was 23.Nxf6.

Garnoth is right. These endgames are brilliant - any more? 😉

HAHA, that cracked me up man, totally missed that, I looked at the line greenpawn suggested but thought my way was winning.
