    Isn't endgame one of the most important and difficult parts of chess? I saw probably the first chess book of my life today and noted that it had some very interesting endgame questions that I had never met in a game before. I was hoping we could use a thread to pose challenging endgame positions to help our game. I hope to see some good thoughts up. Here's a sample problem in the book

    It must be black's move because otherwise Kg7 makes it pretty simple for white.
