We have plenty of websites that offer "Openings" and "Tactics"

But why no "Endgame Server"?

I use the computer to study Openings and Tactics but when it comes to Endgames I have to bust out a book and start flipping pages back and forth....

Is there any websites that cover Endgames in a diagram training way?

Yes! A website that I am working on offers this feature. Unfortuantely, we don't have anything active at the moment. We should have it running in a few weeks.

Will it be free?

Will it be like CTS but with Endgames?

Yes, definitely free.

It is still in the Alpha stage, but at the moment you can practice different kind's of endgames (King and Pawn, Rook and Pawn, etc.) while learning about key positions, etc.

However, this model may change. As I said, we are still in an early stage.

A basic - but working! - version should be released in a few weeks.

On ICC you can practice basic endgames against bots...the king knight and bishop versus king kept me amused for a while. (membership required)

Chessgames.com has an endgame section but I'm not allowed in as I've not paid after my sub for the premium service ran out...so I not sure how good it is.

chess.com have a facility called Computer Workout (I think, haven't tried it) that you can practice endgames or any other position against a computer. I am not sure how good it is.

While the tools are good, the users and content are crap.

Well, most of the users are lower rated, and have you seen the Articles section? Most of them are pathetic games with incorrect comments by the author.

Of course, because they have so many users it is natural for there to be some strong players. In quantity there is some quality.
