Hey can anybody point me to a site with some Chess Ending principles? Not basic stuff like how to mate with a Rook and King, but some ideas for Rook and Pawns and other endings. I've been playing for 40 years off and on and sometimes I still get the feeling I don't have any clue on how to play an ending.
Not a site, but I am reading a book by Leonard Barden, called "How to Play the Endgame in Chess", from The Club Player's Library series. It has textbook techneque, then also has the endgame (style?) of some Masters, like Fischer and Petrosian. then it has adjudication tech, so you can see what is a good position etc and Endgame openings, eg the Ruy Lopez.
Hope that is a bit of a help.

I tried that site and I got a big screen saying "FORBIDDEN - you do not have access to that server". Are the Brits storing their nuclear codes next to how to play an endgame?
