This is a tournament game that I just drew:

In this game, is there anything specific that I did wrong? Is there anything I should have done to be more aggressive, or was it just well defended (or a combination)? I felt like a I had a good attack going, but I just couldn't figure out how to close the deal.

Nd4 instead of Ng5 looks stronger, the threat of saccing the knight on e6 and breaking through with queen looks appealing.

Rc1 looks good, first chasing away the queen from the c-file, than you should play for Nd4.

20.Kb1 (Be2)-giving the bishop up slows down the attack.
21.fxd3-closing the d-file is yuck (Qxd3)
22.Qg2-the queen was already participating, Rdg1,Rhg1,or f4 immediately seems better
