The blitz ratings on Fics seems to be a little bit too low, like 250 points maybe.

how can you compare someone could be 1200 and play only 1500 players and one could be 1200 only playing 1200 players. does it matter the difference. i think they are within 75 points of your actual rating above or below if you play people around your rating.

Btw, FICS automatically provide a statistical service that compares the standard ratings there to OTB ratings and estimates best fits. Mine was very accurate.
