FICS Server DOWN?

I can't get on FICS both the website and server (I use BabasChess and Thief). Can anyone that's on FICS confirm?

I've been trying to get in for the last 2 days. Babaschess won't let me connect and the website is down so I'm going to say yes, its down.

That's too bad. FICS is down quite often, I'm thinking of switching to World Chess Live when it comes up

What is this FICS that is down? Haven't you heard of PlayChess?

It's hard to get a Standard game on FICS these days. I'm considering buying Fritz and going to playchess but everyone knows ICC is the best.
