    There's a new gizmo that consists of a folding chess clock that randomly generates starting positions for Fischer random chess (chess 960 as some call it). It's quite cheap as well.

    That's pretty neat, here is a page that does the same thing (without a clock).

    Yes, there is castling because one of the rules is that in the initial set-up, the king must be between the 2 rooks. Castling then can take place with the usual stipulations. In addition, there must be bishops on opposite coloured squares in the initial set-up.

    Yes, but not if you play here using a set position game. RHP only supports castling if the king and rooks start in the standard position. Apart from that fischer random games work quite well here.

    I would like a full Fisher 960 implementation here at RHP, with castling, and its own rating, and all!
