Greetings.

Does anyone know if any tapes/DVD's exist anywhere of the original WNET/Shelby Lyman broadcasts of the 1972 World Championship?

I watched them live way back then, and would love to find copies.

Interesting question. Those tapes would be a valuable historical record for chess. Noting television's record of responsibility ill guess they were taped over for a Pepsi commercial. Probably the best person to get in touch with would be Shelby Lyman himself. See if you can locate the man.
