Hello All
Years ago, Bobby Fischer made a least of the top ten chess players up to that point (in his opinion).
For those of you who haven't seen it, I include the list here.
1. Paul Morphy
2. Howard Staunton
3. Willhelm Steinitz
4. Siegbert Tarrasch
5. Mikhail Tchigorin
6. Alexander Alekhine
7. Jose Raul Capablanca
8. Boris Spassky
9. Mikhail Tal
10. Samuel Reshevsky
For a brief summary of his thoughts (in his words), I refer you to either of these web pages.
I am sure there are many more sites with this material, as neither of these was my original source.

I also include a very funny joke made by another player about the list.
"He probably has not overlooked me at all. No, he has omitted me on purpose. What is more, I have the distinct impression that he has only given his views in order not to mention me! How dare he, the little brat!" – Jan Hein Donner (on being omitted from Fischer's list of the 10 greatest chess players of all time)
