Does it play the CATalan opening?

You should probably avoid the Rat (g6) against the cat too.

    Hi Swiss G.

"Can you find any examples where both rooks were sacrificed to the same pawn in succession? "

Give me a wee while on that one mate. I'll look after I've had some sleep.

I've got a Double Rook Sac that forces a return Double Rook Sac!

I've got games on here where the lads sac two Rooks
promote pawns to Rooks and sac those as well.
    Triple and quadruple Rook sacs.

I've got a sack loads of Rooks sacs.
I've got more Rooks sacs than RJ has thumbs down.
(well maybe not that many, but I do have a lot.)

I have 100's of these beauties tucked up my sleeve.

Every now and then I drop one onto the forum as a tease.

Sit back and enjoy the creativity that is.....

    zauber - belgianfreak RHP 2005 Game 1038276

Black sacs the exchange to offer his other Rook to trap the White Queen.
White sacs Both Rooks to get the Queen out.
The White Queen is freed for all of one move and the White King is mated.

We join the fun with White to play his 18th move.

    Hi SG,

"Wow - that is one crazy game. How do you find these things?"

The same way I can often find bad moves in my games,
I am a chess magnet for the truly awful.

    Re: The Stipulation.

"...both rooks were sacrificed to the same pawn in succession? "

There are quite a few all over the board and for both sides.
Here are two with the same setting as your game.

Not good enough to were the suit yet, but there's always hope!

EDIT: I learned from working at Disney's Animal Kingdom that you should never play chess with cats at the zoo. Bunch of lion cheetahs, I tell you.

Egads. "Were the suit"? It was way too early in the morning for me, apparently. That was the spelling equivalent of dropping the queen. 😞

How am I meant to know about a 5 minute games played between
you and your mate at work?
(I know about your 6 move lose v the the tea lady but everyone has seen that.)

Indosmart has two similar games from the same opening on RHP both
played within a month of each other.

This is an amazing find. I thought of the series of opening books that are entitled Dangerous Weapons: (insert name here), and it occurred to me that you could start a follow up series using games like this.

You could entitle it Blunt Instruments: the (insert opening name here).
