I picked one up today for £2 in a 2nd hand shop.

It's 12 inches by 14 inches (space at the side for captured pieces).
Black squares raised, all the special pieces are there and is in mint condition.

If anybody knows of a blind player that requires one then PM me.
(It's free - UK only - It can go free by mail but the blind lad
will have to send the blind mail stickers)

It's actually the second one I've picked up in as many months.
I found a good home for the other one.

I like 2nd hand shops. Everything I have is second hand.

My wife has been married before, the children are adopted and
    I have had a heart transplant. 🙂

Interesting. Is there anything other than the black squares being raised that makes this a chess set for the blind? Never heard of such a thing until now. Perhaps post this offer on a site for the blind in the UK?

Now I feel a little stupid. Are there even sites for the blind since seeing the screen is out? I have no idea.

I don't know about that but they do have special computers for the blind that help them on the internet.

Sometimes I feel a little blind myself. Some move blunders I make is better off unmoved. :/

Every blind person have a non-blind person nearby. He/she will of course see the Internet ads for anything making the blind persons life be better.
