Hey guys, I'm interested in playing the French defence, anyone mind giving me a few lessons on it? PM me or post here please.
1. opening moves are 1. e4 e6, 2. d4 d5
2. Thereafter attack d4 as much as possible, e.g. ... c5, ... Nc6, ... Qb6 etc
3. When there's nothing else you can do to put pressure on d4 play ... f6
4. Don't worry about the light-squared Bishop - it will get some play eventually.
Have fun.
