Finally came in the mail yesterday.
But hey! How the heck do you turn off all those ugly arrows on the screen!? 🙁

Well you get 2 kinds of arrows, 1. you select a piece to move and it shows you all the squares it can go, click help untick dynamic hints 2. Arrows that show what the comp thinks is going to happen, again click help and untick spy.

I do a lot of game analysis so I need the arrows to stay off while I'm working. I've turned everything off I could, Dynamic Hints, Spy and Threatening Squares, but those damn arrows keep popping up on the board!

If they are, I think you can switch it off by going, tools, options, engine, untick show plans.

why is so huge and so slow ? How can use soooo many resources and do not even display coords by default????...

You've missed out on a lot did you swim across the atlantic to get your copy? I've had mine for nearly a montth now and within that time taken my Fritzie to bash Rybka's on the engine room and gain a 2500+ computer rating. Not bad eh!
