ChessBase says that F9 is not Vista compatible, while F10 is. Good reason to stick with XP until Microsoft works some of the bugs out of Vista, especially those that prevent McAfee and Norton from running.

Good point. I am in the market for a new computer, and was wondering about getting Vista. How does one determine when the bugs have been worked out and it's a safe bet to go ahead and purchase Vista?

The announcement of the launch date for the next version of Windows is usually an indication that Microsoft have done all they intend to do to remove the bugs in the current version.

Why do you need Fritz when you have Chessmaster 10th Edition?
