I'm sure this isn't interesting to anybody at all, but with the recent furore about engine use, I thought I'd better say in advance...
A friend of mine is curious about playing against Fritz, but he's a Mac user and it's not available for Mac, so I'm going to put an (unrated) game on where he will play against Fritz 8. I'll call the game <<his username>> vs. Fritz.

I think your friend can use Virtual PC for these purposes. Although it will be slowgoing, I guess...
Yeah, he's a subscriber. If "Virtual PC" is as I think a PC emulator for Mac then we talked about this option, but as you mention, we weren't sure about the performance issues.
Besides which, I've got Fritz and he hasn't and I surely couldn't copy it for him could I? I mean, that would be illegal! 😉
