I came across this piece of software on amazon.Amazon doesn't provide an explanation,nor review,nor was I able to find out anywhere else.Anyone know what exacly it is?

Hydra is the 16 processor chess engine that totally thrashed Shredder 5-2 recently in Abu Dhabi.

No,that can't be it.Abu Dhabi is not in Bahrain(I think),and I'm talking about a piece of software,this 16 processor engine thing is hardware.
Gah!I hate it when they don't explain what exactly the item represents.DMT!

Actually Hydra is a combination of both software and hardware.

Thanks for the link. Amazon in the US does not list this product under the same title. It may be identical to the Fritz Deluxe program sold in the U.S. The U.K. distributor/publisher is listed as Chess Academy. Their other products appear identical to products offered by VivaMedia in the US--generally these are genuine ChessBase products repackaged for mass market distribution. Slight changes in the original products may be present. For example, I have the VivaMedia version of Fritz 7. When I open it, I must endure a five second VivaMedia "trailer" at the start. This trailer is absent from my copy of Fritz 8, which I purchased in the original ChessBase package.

Fritz in bahrain is consists of 8 matches between Deep Frtitz and Kramnik, Vladimir (2807). with notations. Pretty interesting stuff.

I dont think chessbase sells it as a standalone product. It came with my Fritz technique trainer CD.
