I would like some analysis and comments on the following game between SirLoseALot (black) and myself, game id 227560
1. e4 e5
2. Nf3 Nc6
3. Bc4 Bc5
4. c3 Nf6
5. d4 exd4
6. cxd4 Bb4+
7. Nc3 Nxe4
8. o-o Bxc3
9. d5 Bf6
10. Re1 Ne7
11. Rxe4 d6
12. Bg5 Bxg5
13. Nxg5 h6
14. Qe2 o-o
15. Ne6 .... bad move
Move 15 is where I started to go down hill very quickly. Due to lack of knowledge and experience in tactical play, plus excellent play by SirLoseALot. As I see it I had a good positional advantage at that point which I quickly lost costing me the game.
My original instinct was to move Rxe7, a move I now wish I played.
Could a few more knowledgeable people comment and maybe suggest how my line should have progressed from Rxe7.

You are right, after 14....0-0 the right move was 15.Rxe7
It could go as follows:
15.Rxe7 hxg5
16.Re1 and then aim at Qh5 if black doesn't prevent it (see below), for instance:
16....Bf5
17.Qh5 Bg6
18.Qxg5 followed by later R1e3 and strong kingside attack.
So, black wants to avoid this line and therefor better plays
16....g4 standing in the way to h5. Can follow:
17.Bd3 (or first Qe4) Bd7
18.Qe4 (or then Bd3) f5
19.Qf4 with still the better chances for white against a weakened kingside, although no direct easy win. With black I would play 19....Rf6 then white has to consider Qg5 or f3.
I hope this helps. Maybe others have different or complementary comments.
