I don't know if anyone on here actually enjoys doing this, but I just finished a game, and I'm wondering if someone would like to take a look at it. I think it's one of my average games, so there isn't anything super special about it. I won of a blunder too, so it isn't all that exciting. Just wondering if someone could look for my blunders, or even minor missteps.

I think that you played it well.

The opening was going very well.

Why did you play b3? It didn't make much sense to me. So many natural developing moves were available.

I used to play that line and I might well have played b4! for a giggle as white's queen would have been badly placed.

well there ya go!.. i don't mind b3 that much, because it keeps the black queen cramped a few moves longer... b4 is better for sure though.

You shouldn't have left your king in the middle like that.

Plus launching your kingside pawns at him wasn't great.

You had a decent position. Castle, and then go after him. You had the bishop pair so you should have tried opening up the position.


Try using a database also for your openings. That will help you.
