This thread is a place where you can bring your games and get advice about them. I will probably not be the one giving the most advice I will ask Korch and Dragonfire if they would be willing to check this thread at least once a day to see if there are any games to critique. You can also show off your games annotated by you or someone else if you'd like.
how about we start off with a game of mine from playchess.

Edit: If this thread is popular enough and is quite permanent maybe Russ will make it into a sticky thread! Of course we would have to ask him first. 🙂
here's a very interesting game I played against rybka last night. rybka had a 3 move opening book and I had none, and I'm proud of myself to get to an almost equal middlegame position 🙂
the interesting thing about the middlegame is that I had a rook and pawn for two pieces, and I had all my pawns on the board, like a city wall. rybka slowly showed her positional mastery, and I had 10 seconds (with no increment) left on my clock around move 23.

Here is an example in one of my games where white can overextend in this opening
Game 4223240
28.Rxc5+ draws but I overextended like I said and played 27.f4 trying to win.
Edit: but it does look like you had some fun with that Reti opening! 🙂

...[text shortened]... nent maybe Russ will make it into a sticky thread! Of course we would have to ask him first. 🙂
I dont see the point of 10.Bb5?! - why not 10.h3 with idea of g4 and Bg2 ?
12.Rxd7? is nonsense after which blacks takes advantage- better was 12.f3 to make position more open and exploit displacement of black pieces.
Also 22.Nxh7?? was nonsense too.

here is the thread I had scandium
