That match result was acknowledged by the original poster. I would think even a fool like you could still acknowledge that Larsen was a very strong GM in his day and one of the best players in the world. Wait, no - that would require class, or a proper respect for the game.

(Spassky v Larsen)

14. ...Rh1!!

An excellent move. I believe academicchess.com states that a room of grandmasters were analyzing the game at the time, and none them saw, or seriously considered Rh1!

greatest danish GM ever: Bent Larsen ....

Bent Larsen has only played a minor part in development of theory
and yet he has an opening of his own: 1.b3 the Larsen Attack
Are you lobbying for a thematic tournament?

According to the score sheet, Spassky was black, and he won.
So its not exactly a great Larsen game if that is true. Its a great SPASSKY game.

My mistake. I do remember going through it previously; merely forgotten since it was a Larsen thread. I personally feel Spassky had some of the more incredible sacrifices; for example

Averbakh v Spassky 1956

16...Nc6!!?
