this was where i missed an easy win. i played 39.Rf1?

much better was 39.Qe8+! Kg7 40.Re7+ Kh6 41.Rf7! winning material

had another shot at gm bojkov a few minutes ago. i was black this time. seemed quite allright out of the opening. probably 16...d5? was decisive. after this "freeing" move i was tied up and not able to withstand the pressure from the gm.

How did it happen you had white in a simul? Usually the gm takes white on all boards. I played Larry Evans in a simul, he had all whites to start.

in blitz simul he plays half white, half black. no chicken, no?
tonight he won all games.
