Originally posted by bonesplitterI have the book and use the Budapest Gambit as my main defense against d4 OTB. The book is excellent and gives many useful ideas and lines. The BG is a good choice for those who don't want to have to memorize a lot of theory in the various Queen pawn openings, want to open the position quickly rather than play closed positions and for surprise value - most White players are unfamiliar with it in any depth.
