Ever want to read some old classics like Philidor's books on chess or Ruy Lopez or Howard Staunton or plenty of other newer chess books in public domain, check out the new Google Book page http://books.google.com/ And it's all free (the magic word). just type in chess and stand back. My only trouble is reading from screen, but with the chess book on pdf i can print out an interesting page or two. Anyway, something to explore.
