9 ... bxc6 10. e5 or 9 ... dxc6 10 e5. Either way the knight at f6 is pinned and lost... and so is the game for black...

8 ... bxc6 9. e5 or 8 ... dxc6 9 e5. Either way the knight at f6 is pinned and lost... and so is the game for black...

My apologies. got my move numbers muddled. Its 9 Nxc6!
EDIT: In response to the above post, I was questioning playing both an early e6 AND a Kingside fianchetto.
