how do you make a chess video?

Hi, please this is not as absurd as it sounds, but how does one make a chess video, i mean, is there a function on chess base, (i have chessbase 9) which lets you upload the video and the audio ( i know it does handle media files), or do you physically need to sit, in front of the pc, with a camcorder pointing at the screen and a microphone and pop guard for the audio. i do have adobe audition 1.5 which is a fairly sophisticated piece of software for video and audio editing and since i got some time i was really taken by the idea of videoing and presenting some games that i have enjoyed, not my own which are far too traumatic, but those of others, any ideas, let me know - regards Robbie.

You need some screen capturing software I think.

Hi heinzkat, please forgive my ignorance, i am much more experienced with audio than video, whats screen capturing software? i thought that using a camcorder was the way, obviously i am mistaken.

Not sure if it is the right terminology, but you need some software program that records everything that happens on the screen and saves it as a video file. So no hardware, but just some software, that you download from somewhere...

I've never done it, but maybe this link will help, as long as you only need to record the moves on the board.
