Chess Now
"Live call-in Chess show broadcast on public access TV from the Manhattan Neighborhood Network studios in New York, and streamed over the Internet at www.mnn.org"
I'm sure the producer meant well. But what a catastrophe. First of all, maybe getting a host who knows a little something about the game of chess would benefit a tv show that's about chess.
I remember the coverage the Short/Kasparov games got in late '93 & it was pretty good, though Short got a good drubbing.
I seem to remeber Raymond Keene & Daniel King giving analysis on the games & they showed the key moves & summarised the openings.
Other than in the news, I haven't seen any chess on the tv in the UK since, I think.

EDIT: Just realised it is the camera.

It'd most likely be on BBC2 at 23:00 or something though๐ด

I can understand non-chess players not being able to set up the board correctly, but this is supposedly a show about chess. You'd think they could get it right. (The black king and queen are reversed.) Maybe the host set up the board. ๐

That was an enjoyable late night show - wish they'd do it again.
