"How to Fool Fritz"
Albert H. Alberts
In this book it is demonstrated that it is surprisingly easy to defeat chess programs.

Now let's hope that Kramnik will read this book the next time he plays Fritz.

It is fairly easy to beat a program like fritz though, because once you've found a weakness, you can exploit it over and over. Fritz never learns from it's mistakes.
I have no idea what that book is about, but it might very well be the "anti-computer chess" method (Pablo chess, lol). This is where you lock the pawn structure and just shuffle pieces back and forth until the stupid engine loses on time. Engines can be programmed to avoid this strategy, but many engines don't have this. Very boring to watch, though.

Great, let us know when you've done it.
edit - I'm sure you don't believe me... here's one of my favourite games. I'm white, Fritz is black.

edit #2 .. i didn't mention, it was a 10 minute blitz game, and I missed mate somewhere apparently.

Oh, wait....you got a draw. Hardly "easy" to beat Fritz, since you still haven't done it yet.

I have no clue what this person is talking about. Read through some of it but it's ...yawn.
On a side note, you can teach fritz or other chessbase programs to avoid certain variations. If you have someone who comes over and plays your fritz and keeps winning, you can teach fritz to learn from it's loses and avoid those variations next time.

If that were true, then Kramnik must be a very sucky chess player. Didn't he lose 4-2 against Fritz?
