I am new to this web site and internet correspondance chess. So far I have won my first 4 games and am well up in my fifth and just in the oppening in 2 others. these are the only games I have played so far. I have cheated by useing a computer to help calculate some moves in each game ( chess master 8000 ). I thought that in correspondance chess you could use any resource to help with moves but I have found this is not so and only databases and books are allowed, not analysis engines. I would like to know what others think should be done about me. I need to contact someone to reset my game history or whatever to nil, so I can start again. I am seriously considering becoming a full member as I have enjoyed the site so far. I wonder if others now will think me a cheat always now? I wish to start again, with previouse results nulled. Fortunately I have only been a member since may 15th. I decided to do this as after reading some posts in the forum I would only be fooling myself with the results so far, and I was unaware that I was cheeting. My fate is in your hands.

I didn't know I was cheating at the time. Anyone is capable of cheating so your remark is without relevance to the thread.
If it were up to me to decide, I'd let you start over. You seem honest about it. Though a bit ill-informed about the rules, you want to make it right. But this isn't anyone's decision but Russ's. I suggest you talk to him about it.

You never hear anything from them :if someone has been caught,how they are working,,how they deal with confessions like this,etc,etc,..............
