The idea is to take a tactics book and solve the puzzles directly from the book...do not set the position up on the board...just solve and solve untill the pages turn to dust..

Why do you need 2 of the same threads, you already got answers. Do the work and figure it out for yourself now or at least bump your old thread with a progress update from your end.

depends really, for 2-3 movers - do it from the book, for a more complex combo - set up the boarrd, well.... that's what I do. But at least 'try' to do them in your head - it will stand to you.
