If you had played without your capslock key on I am sure the draw was there for you.

lol 🙂

I am not qualified to say really. If you think it may have been drawn - why did you resign though?

This game is way too early to resign unless I am missing something. ...Ng6-f8-e6-d4 would have been a good objective. Also Black maybe should get his King to e7 to put pressure on d6-d8.

Did you have a good reason to resign? If not, don't do it. Don't worry if your opponent tells you to; resign when you think there is no conceivable way to avoid a loss.

It appears that you will lose your bishop soon sit it cannot move anywhere. White will then be up a rook to a knight. So white would have a big advantage, but I would still play it out a little more anyway.

Then white's pawns are advanced far and are ready to take the next step.

I think you should have played it out. Possibly trying ...Bxa5, PxB Qa3+ and after white relieves the check play Qxa5. Then you are down a knight to a rook but have 2 extra pawns which are passed and connected so you should have been able to exert some pressure with careful play.

Very good ShallowBlue. After 25.BxP 26.PxB Qa3+ Black has excellent drawing chances. White can't even interpose with 27.Qb2 (planning on taking Black's e-pawn) because it would allow 27...Qxc5+

It is a wining position for black after 21 moves. 22. ... Rxf3? was a mistake, however, as people said, u still had good chances for a drawn. It is never to late for resign! 😉 After 22. ... Ng6, with and idea Nf4 and maybe Ne2 etc, u had all chances to win.

Oh, I didn't look deeply enough at the game to see that the Bishop is doomed.

SHUT UP!
Russ has asked we keep cheating accusations off the boards. Please keep your unfounded accusations to yourself.

Back to the thread....

Yes my B is doomed but I think B takes pawn. pawn takes B and I should play on. Dang... it was my first loss here at RHP too.. and I think it was me just being dumb.

I have a feeling Im going to learn alot here.
I need to learn to play for the draw.

Hmmmm very true...... ShallowBlue, I guess that's why your rating is higher than mine.
