Does anyone reccomend getting one? or if any venders are better? I hardly go on anymore but i just thought about getting one for a short time before school starts up.
i agree......a coach needs to be there a long time....
one lesson does nothing....if you can afford a coach i suggest twice a week for as long as you can....
but 50 bucks an hour ?? pffft......they charge that because they know there are fathers out there who always wanted to be good at chess and now are pushing it on there kids.....
and yes they will pay the 50 an hour......not me bud....i've taken lessons before.....i can go over master games at home for free thanks

I beg to differ. if you can get 3 games with them you can learn a lot. from one game with an 1800 player i learned a load on the opening i was trying to learn and won! also i have tought people for 3 games and they improve their play a lot faster than playing games over and over not knowing their mistakes.
