I love the look of the Isle of Lewis chess set, but I don't want to pay $150-$200 for it. Does anybody have any info on where I can find it in perhaps a cheaper plastic version?

Thanks anybody.

http://www.bcmchess.co.uk/bcmornat.html They offer this:
Isle of Lewis £48.99
The original Isle of Lewis chess pieces can be seen in the British Museum in London: they are made of walrus ivory and date to the mid-twelfth century. These reproductions are moulded from crushed stone in resin. The Kings are about 95 mm high, with thick bases. These pieces fit well on the Oriental or Mandarin boards (see below). We can also order for you a smaller version of the Isle of Lewis set, with kings 57 mm tall, to fit a board with squares of 40 mm. Mini Lewis pieces: £32.99

They're based in the UK,+20% shipping overseas, and boards are sold seperately.
Would that do?

Thanks, but £48.99 is still $90 USD, and £32.99 is $61, which is still more than I wanted to pay. I was hoping for, like, a $15-20 Toys R Us set, ya know? In El Cheapo Plastic. Like the way they offer the Harry Potter Wizards Chess Set in the Collectible $295 version, and also in the $15 Toys R Us Plastic Version. Guess which one is on my Santa's list? 😀

But thanks for the link, that's a cool website. I have added it to my bookmarks. 🙂

I've browsed the cheapest sites, best buy was still around 80$ 🙁
Your best bet would be Ebay.I've seen some sets there, but the bidding usually starts at your limit,so you'd have to be very lucky to get it.
You would think this wouldn't be so hard to find,yet.... 😕
