several years ago, I'd dream to be the next Fischer, Svidler, Kramnik, Botvinnik, Lasker etc. But now, I lost my ambition. I rarely even think about chess anymore. How can I gain my appetite back?
of a master as those figures, place either their great games, if that
creates desire, OR their accomplishments in front of you.
FIDE World Championship posters on your wall, positions of the
most difficult endings. Quote's from the great's, on the walls. Place
your desires in front of you, and you will not fail to continue your
directive towards your dream.

I find that taking a break, taking it easy, really helps. The spark will come back 😉

Another thing that helps some times is playing a different set of openings. I get bored after playing the same opening after a while and change things up sometimes just to get into some different sort of positions.
