(which was Fischer's first published grade).

Fischer is not dead, hes like obi-wan-kenobi, more powerful now that he is gone, than he ever was when he was alive.

Without being too unkind my wins have been just picking off blunders

move because although it sets a trap it gives me a bad position.
10...c6 was safer and most likely best. But I could not resist it.
(an old failing of mine). He saw it but I got away with it.
I think if you look at most games I won - I got away with a lot
of cheap shots like the one above.

I'm pleased with my play in Game 5229127 my opponent
fell for a positional opening trap and I nursed it home without
taking my foot of the pedal at all. I'll be showing that one
on the demo boards.

I'd like to play Korch OTB. he missed a couple of good shots
as I took chances (set traps). Having said that he usually beats
me at blitz but there again I'm not so hot at blitz on these wee
postage stamps screens. I'm an OTB player. (and a sore loser).

What about it Korch - coming to Edinburgh.
