Interesting game. Black was equal if he could have found the right defensive moves, taking the rook with bishop only added fuel to the kingside attack, it allowed white to bring another rook and take care of key defensive piece, In slower time controls, Black would have been just fine

This game shows how white can attack kingside in this line and what can happen if black are not very careful.

I agree, every opening has its weakness and one of the french's weakness is that white can get a very strong attack on the kingside, but if black knows how to defend against it, he is left with good chances.
