I js found this quite interesting game, ironman has sacrificed two pawns in an attack, should be good to watch 🙂

No comment, but what's the opening called?

I'm still learning on the openings side, so forgive any dumb questions. Is 6. h4 and 7. h5 part of the main line? IM certainly seems to like it and it leads to complications for Black.
The reason I ask is that I'm I'm increasingly attracted to moves that either push or clear the a and h pawns.

I don't really know much about the C-K, but I see it quite often in a CK, so I would guess it is mainline, yes.

6. h4 is the most commonly played move. 7. h5 is not however. More common (3000 games to 500 games) is 7. Nf3. Still not unusual though.

Interesting game progression. The position is full of tactical surprises. Don't blink.

Does anyone have the game ID #s for the two games that Ironman has lost? I'm not sure there's an easy way to search for them... Thanks!

The 2 games Ironman has lost are:

Game 502661
Game 661930

There was a thread about the 2nd loss - a fair bit of talk about it and the first one, Ironman was probably asleep!
