you're exactly right, I was wrong.
somehoe i had it in my head that black comes out with an extra tempo. this is not the case, it's still the same position with black to move.

Comp likes 18.Rxh8 Qxh8 19.Ne5. White can take the h-file when he needs to and Black can't play 19...Nxe5 20.Qxe5+ followed by 21.Qxc7 invading. He's left with the unpleasant choice of defending f7 with the Q or moving the f-pawn and creating more weaknesses.

Thats what i was looking at but my post has no credibility since I missed a simple tactic. Black doesn't seem to have anything after white takes that file over.
