This was to be my comeback year for OTB chess. I've cancelled it because of the coronavirus. I'm 65 and don't want to take unnecessary risks. This year it will be ICC Chess, and maybe another section or 2 at Red Hot Pawn. Is anyone else leaving OTB for this reason as well?

I'm being forced to against my will. We're being reigned by panic.

Whole chunk of weekend events have been cancelled in the UK.
Footballs has been suspended. concerts cancelled, fast food shops
closed, apparently cinemas near empty, live in the city centre of Edinburgh
and it's quiet all over....spooky.

Some of the big scholastic tourneys especially this weekend cancelled but those are expecting triple digits so very understandable but any smaller im still going play

No, this is really serious. The world will be unrecognisable from how it is now in a few months time.

That will be interesting to see. We will see if politicians use this to control free citizens.

Well there have been no interesting times for 80 years. Maybe it is time for them again.

That explains why people are fearful of flu shots.
