I just now siezed upon the threefold repitition in a tournament game on another site. (no pgn, just fen, and belive me you dont miss anything in not getting the moves that led here. I set up a queen trade in like move 6, just to discover to my horror, that i'd failed to see the bishop who also could capture....)
I played black.
Fen:
2k1r2r/ppp2p1p/2P3p1/3p2Q1/2P1b2P/4K1b1/P1nN2p1/R1B3R1 w - - 0 1
Is there more than a draw here?
I'm seeing that Black is winning:
1. Ke2 Nd4+ 2. Ke3 Nf5+ 3. Ke2...
Yes, you're repeating a little, but you can breakaway now a do this:
3...Bxh4 4. Qg4 Bc2+ 5. Kf3 h5 6. cxb7+ Kxb7 7. Qh3 Re3+...
So as you can see...with a little positional play...Black can begin to drive back White's pieces and win the game.

What should I have responded from there?

Note also that if white plays 6.Qh3 (instead of Qxg2) then Re3+ wins the queen, be it at the cost of a rook (but in the above sequence, it is at the cost of a pawn!).
