It had to happen eventually - The Elvis Presley Chess Set...

http://www.pooltablesusa.com/wood-expressions-elvis-presley-chess-set/

I can hear it now... "White made a nice move - He's now ahead by the Graceland/hound dog exchange." 😞

P.S. I chose this link for the good photo of the pieces, not for the price (it's cheaper on other web sites). But I truly hope nobody is actually considering buying this set. 😵

"You can do what you want - but don't step on my blue suede pawns."

and did you know..............

In some recording of 'Houndog' and I've heard one.

Elvis actuallu sings:

"You aint nothing but a 'lemon' and you aint no friend of mine.'

Lemon being a chess term for a bad move/blunder - see Fischer's 60.

I'm holding out for the Michael Jackson set. The pawns will moonwalk up the board and the pieces will grab their crotch and shout WOOHOO whenever they check the King.

And when you take a piece it exclaims "OW!".

To preserve the quality of the pieces, you are only allowed to touch them if you are wearing a white glove. Just one.

if you capture the queen

"Are you okay annie?"

...piece capture you would think would fall to "Just beat it!" "Beat it!"

This won't work. The black pieces will become white by the end of the game so there'll only be one winner.

And, out of respect for MJ, you would be obligated to play with the board's white corner square set up on your left side.

Hell! I want this bad! You are not a true rock-and-roller until you have made the journey to Graceland. "In Graceland, we will ALL be received."

And what happens when the King starts feeding the pawns Jesus Juice and showing them photos of knights and bishops up to naughty things?

I always thought that KBN vs. K was a little naughty.
